I love these intimate Kurumi moments but I'm getting flashbacks to that one OVA with that one Kurumi clone.

yup, Kurumi Prime seems to always forget Tanabata Kurumi... or as i like to call her... Deredere Kurumi (DDK)... the biggest issue with S4 Kurumi is... 'Date a Bullet'... GeekToys produced those 'movies' previously to their work on S4. but the events in that show were in another universe than even First Timeline or Second Timeline of the main storyline...

i've read a theory that 'Date a Bullet' Kurumi is actually DDK and her driving goal in those stories is to get back to Earth and meet up with Shidou and give herself entirely to him. the theory goes... if you think about how the Tanabata Date ended, Kurumi Prime entirely severed DDK from Prime's collective timeline. Kurumi Prime wanted to make sure that the particular 'lovesickness' of DDK for Shidou never manifests again or infects the rest of Kurumi Prime's timeline. never forget, Kurumi Prime stated BEFORE the Tanabata Date that DDK was A YOUNGER PART OF HER LIFETIME. a time clone from when Kurumi Prime was more innocent. that severing is why DDK ended up back in the 'in-between universe' that exists in the middle ground but separate from the Spirits' Universe and Earth. DDK's goal to lose herself in loving Shidou is the antithesis to Kurumi Prime's goal to defeat the Spirit of Origin and totally remove Spirits from all the timelines of Earth.

Thats a deal of a lifetime. Make her fall in love with you and seal her power or fall in love with her and you get death. I think I would of failed that challenge and got death as a result.
